Legal education has evolved to meet ever changing needs and visions and has changed significantly over time. The vision of Dinabandhu Sahu Law College (DSLC) has been shaped accordingly to suit the students, the prime change agents.
DSLC has completed thirty-six years of its existence and has made a mark for itself with invaluable contributions from all its stakeholders including students, teachers and non-teaching staff. The three-year LLB degree programme is the flagship degree at DSLC that offers students training and expertise in a range of legal subjects. DSLC pioneered this programme in the State with an objective to provide strong foundation upon which students can make choice on their professional career or further academic persuasions. Vibrant student community, a team of experienced and engaged faculty and a hands-on staff together have brought the institution its distinctive character.
I hope, DSLC will continue to remain an institution committed to community service instilling in its students the values of professional ethics, social responsibility and inclusiveness in addition to imparting them legal knowledge and skills necessary for success in their chosen career paths.
